Dry vaporizers - FAS 2000 & 2000S series
In industrial and commercial sectors, liquefied petroleum gas is frequently used for space heating as well as as a process gas for various applications.
As very often large quantities of liquid gas are required in a very short period of time, the gas supply is ensured by using liquid gas vaporizers to convert LPG from the liquid phase to the gas phase.
FAS-2000 dry-type liquid gas vaporizers do not require heat transfer fluids. An aluminum core is used as the heat transfer fluid which is heated and monitored within specified limits using a thermostat. When the required vaporization temperature is reached, the solenoid valves open and the LPG enters the vaporizer where it is transformed into vapor.
The modern and reliable design identifies fluctuations in steam flow and regulates the required heating capacity accordingly. The nominal capacity of the vaporizer is 15 kg / h to 1,400 kg / h.

Hot water vaporizers - FAS 3000 series

As large amounts of liquid gas are often required in a very short period of time, the gas supply is ensured by using liquid gas vaporizers to convert LPG from the liquid phase to the gas phase.
Hot water heated FAS 3000 liquid gas vaporizers work with water as the heat transfer medium. The water is heated and controlled within specified limits using a thermostat.
When the required vaporization temperature is reached, the solenoid valves open and the LPG enters the vaporizer where it is transformed into vapor. The modern and reliable design identifies fluctuations in steam flow and regulates the required heating capacity accordingly. The nominal capacity of the vaporizer is 200 kg / h at 14,000 kg / h.
Hot water heated vaporizers are available in cabinet or container form.

Through the use of a PT 100 resistance thermometer installed in the vaporizer, the temperature of the vaporizer can be regulated much more precisely and results in a more constant outlet temperature. It is then possible to adjust the outlet temperature according to the process requirements, within the given limits, to ensure safe vaporization.
The external control unit, in combination with the use of an additional PLC, provides access to usable vaporizer information regarding vaporizer capacity, temperature, operating conditions and possible faults. This information can also be transmitted to the control room on request. No vapor tightness test is required due to external installation of all functional components such as contactors and fuses.
In addition, maintenance and troubleshooting is greatly simplified. The field of application is in the commercial and industrial sector, for example in biogas plants, engine test stands or others.
